What to Expect

Our practice utilizes the latest technology and offers a variety of treatment options to deliver high quality, personalized care. Our goal is to give you the healthy, beautiful smile you're looking for. We look forward to partnering with you to ensure your orthodontic treatment is as rewarding as possible.

STEP ONE: INITIAL EXAM

Your complimentary initial exam will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontics, obtain a comprehensive clinical exam, and speak with us about your chief concerns. During your initial exam, we will:

  • Review your dental and medical history
  • Listen to your chief concerns
  • Provide a comprehensive oral exam
  • Answer your questions
  • Obtain diagnostic records (*option to complete at separate appointment)

STEP TWO: CONSULTATION

Your consultation will give you the opportunity to learn about your orthodontic diagnoses and treatment options. During your consultation, we will:

  • Review your orthodontic diagnoses
  • Review your treatment options
  • Discuss financial information, insurance options, and payment plans
  • Have all questions answered prior to deciding on your course of care

STEP THREE: TREATMENT

After you've decided on your preferred course of care, we'll schedule your first appointment.

  • Appointments will generally be every four to eight weeks depending on your orthodontic treatment plan. We'll work with you to ensure that your appointments are as convenient as possible.
  • It will be important to maintain excellent oral hygiene throughout your treatment.
  • Regular dental check ups with your dentist are important.
  • Your treatment may last between one to three years depending on your individual course of care.

STEP FOUR: RETENTION

After completing your active orthodontic treatment, we'll provide you with retainers. Your retainers are key to maintaining your new smile. We'll see you for retainer checks for a few years after your active treatment, and are available for additional check-ins should you have questions. We are committed to your long term success and stability!
