Miriam Carrasco

Patient Care Coordinator

Miriam graduated from San Francisco State University with her Associates Degree in Sociology. She began working with Dr. E Sr. in 2017, and was inspired by the passion and love he had for his patients and staff. Miriam appreciates being a part of our patient’s journey to their new smile! In her spare time, she enjoys the beach, spending time with her nieces and nephews, trying new food, and visiting new places.

Darlene Fernandez

Patient Care Coordinator

Darlene has a background in Interior Design and Banking, and she’s been an important part of our team since 2021! She appreciates being part of each patient’s journey towards perfecting their smile and building confidence. In her spare time, Darlene enjoys spending time with her kids, Dylan and Jade. She also enjoys exercising, meditating, being outdoors, and visiting art exhibits.

Monica Huerta

Treatment Coordinator, Dental Assistant

Monica has been in orthodontics for over 20 years, and she loves working at the practice with her amazing co-coworkers! Monica’s favorite part of her job is working one-on-one with patients to review the treatment processes for achieving their ideal smile. In her spare time, Monica enjoys being with family and friends and visiting the beach!

Katie LeGate

Patient Care Coordinator

Katie was originally a patient of Dr. E Sr.! She graduated from San Jose State University with her B.A. in Behavioral Science and Psychology. She has been a valuable member of our practice since 2009. Katie loves orthodontics because it sits at the intersection of art and science. She loves the practice, and believes that lasting relationships with our team members, patients, and families are what set us apart. In her spare time, Katie likes reading, cooking, drawing, and shopping. She is a big movie fan, especially franchises like Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Harry Potter!

Wendy LeGate

Financial Coordinator

Wendy’s mom started working with Dr. E Sr. in 1999. In 2002, Wendy began working at our practice part-time while completing her B.A. in Cultural Anthropology at San Jose State University. Afterwards, she chose to build her career at the practice, becoming our financial coordinator. Her favorite part of working at the office is seeing everyone’s beautiful smiles! In her spare time, Wendy enjoys traveling to Disneyland and Walt Disney World, watching movies and TV shows (Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Harry Potter), and shopping!

Megan Smith

Dental Assistant

Megan graduated from Everest College with specialized training in Orthodontics. She has been in the field for over 10 years, and she has been an important part of our team since 2019! When Megan was growing-up, she watched her Mom practice in orthodontics, and was immediately drawn to the field because of the positive impact of good orthodontic care on the lives of children and adults. Megan has also played an active role in her community coaching at her local high school, volunteering at the Gilroy Garlic Festival, and helping at her Church. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Bryan, and their son, Jaxson. They love the outdoors, especially visiting White Pines Lake and hiking!

Alejandro Vargas

Dental Assistant

Alex has been a key member of the practice since 2014. He loves orthodontics because a great smile brings confidence and joy! He also appreciates the variety of clinical, laboratory, and technological work he gets to perform, which keeps work interesting. Alex is grateful to have met so many wonderful people throughout his career, many whom have become lifetime friends. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring new places to eat!

Bianca Gonzalez

Registered Dental Assistant

When Bianca began her dental career, she was immediately drawn to the orthodontic field because of the meaningful patient interactions. She found her “perfect ortho family” at Dr. E’s practice in 2014, and she has been a valued member of the practice since! For many years, Bianca was part of a youth group at St. John Vianney church, helping her community through food and clothing drives. Bianca loves spending her spare time with family, and she enjoys walks, hikes, and beach trips!

Paul Felicitas

Registered Dental Assistant

Paul has been an integral part of our practice since 2016! He loves orthodontics because of the strong relationships we develop with our patients and the process of watching their smiles transform. The priceless reactions from our patients at the end of treatment keeps him motivated to continue providing the best service he can. If Paul is not working on his Curry-style 3-point shot on the basketball court, you can find him on food adventures with his fiancé!

Yessell Solis

Dental Assistant

Yessell has been a wonderful addition to our team since December 2021! She was drawn to the profession after her smile was transformed by braces. She loves helping people attain their perfect smile, and appreciates the relationships we build with our patients. Yessell enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, traveling, and walking.

Summer Rios

Dental Assistant

We are grateful Summer joined the practice in 2022! She loves being a part of each patient’s journey to achieving an improved smile and greater confidence. In her spare time, Summer enjoys going to the beach and having fun adventures with her kids!
